Lockrum Villas was designed by the award-winning architectural firm John Ronan Architect. Ronan and his colleagues are committed to producing architecture of the highest quality, marked by conceptual innovation and clarity, with a strong attention to materiality and detail. The firm has been recognized as one of the most promising in the nation. Their work has received AIA and P/A awards, and has been published in numerous international design publications.

For Ronan, the Lockrum Villas presented an opportunity to work within a local building culture, and design a project that takes maximum advantage of its natural features and climate. Each villa is designed to maximize the impact of its natural surroundings, defining a contemporary architecture that is reflective of indigenous culture.
